Many SLPs worry that parents don't model enough. From a parent perspective, though, it's much more challenging to model out in the community than it is in an SLP's office or in a classroom while sitting at a desk or table. This workshop discusses the presenter's experiences and her child's experiences from the family's perspective, both to help parents in the audience see what they might do, and to help professionals figure out how to better support families.
